During my tour of western Cuba, Viñales was my first stop after Havana. The lush green Valleys of the Pinar del Río Province couldn’t be a starker contrast from the traffic and noise of the vibrant city. The town itself is set within the picturesque Viñales valley, surrounded by picturesque limestone pincushion hills called “mogotes”.
Not a whole lot goes on in this sleepy farming town but it is the perfect place for a little R&R and a whole lot of photography.
All photographs are by me or my partner in crime, Rebecca Perry – find her photography here.
